Alhumdulillah, Allah (Subhana Wa-Ta'aalah) has indeed showered his mercy on the people and children of Gloucester by providing us with three excellent educational institutions that we can safely send our children to, so that their minds can be moulded into becoming true and confident Muslims. However, the good foundation work that has been implemented must continue and more importantly we must endeavour to improve and increase our provision of education.
Therefore as a united and cohesive community we must become involved and actively participate in this meritous work. The request is four-fold:
1) We request that you make Dua that these institutions become the bastions of knowledge and guidance for our children within the true meaning of Islam.
2) Safeguard your children's future by sending them to the Al-Ashraf Nursery, to the Primary School and the Girls Secondary School. By sending all our children to these fortresses of Deen, we will be showing an organised and united front for The Muslim Community of Gloucester, and more importantly, we will be showing our support spiritually, morally and financially.
3) When and where there is a need to help the nursery and schools, let us be at the front in providing our assistance, whether it is through financial means, or through administrative means or simply lending a hand. Actively, become involved in these virtuous causes, as the need for each and every person who brings their different qualities and skills is becoming greater the further we move on.
4) Become a Governor of the School. Become involved in the direction and progress of the school. Shape the future of the education we provide to our children, so that the success of our children today, tomorrow and in the future is, Insha-Allah, guaranteed.
