Covid-19 UPDATE (updated 20/03/2020)

Schools, colleges and early years settings to close

Yesterday Gavin Williamson, the Secretary of State for Education, announced that as part of the country’s ongoing response to COVID-19, schools, colleges and early years settings have been asked to close to everyone except children of key workers and vulnerable children from Monday 23 March.

Fizz Pop Science

On Friday the 14th of February, our children received an entertaining and exhilarating assembly delivered by Fizz Pop science. The scientist was called ‘Rocket’ and he had all the children absolutely gripped by the fun experiments! He showed us how air pressure makes things 'stick', how molecules behave in certain conditions and how friction helps us with everyday stuff. Take a look at our photos from the assembly.

Science Workshops

11th Dec 2019

On Wednesday 11th December, our school took part in science workshops with Dave Watson from the Cheltenham Science Group. The KS1 children made marble runs and KS2 children took part in rocket cars. Please take a look at our photographs to see what we got up to.

Careers Day

Careers Day held on Saturday 14 December 2019

School Exchange

Year 5 and 6 class from Randwick C of E Primary School will be visiting our school on Monday 9th December as part of a school exchange visit. They will be arriving at Al Ashraf Primary at 11.30am, have lunch with the children at 12.30pm and will then be returning to their school at 2.00pm.

Enrichment Day

We are pleased to inform you that we have arranged a full day of enrichment activities for our pupils on Wednesday 11th December, as part of our ongoing efforts to offer an increased extra-curricular provision to aid the personal development of every child.
