Enrichment Week 2025

Enrichment Week 2025 Report

This year’s Enrichment Week at AASSG was a huge success and was centred around the powerful theme of “Connections”—highlighting the importance of building and strengthening relationships with ourselves, others, and the world around us. AlhumduLillah.

KS3 were immersed in exciting activities designed to reflect this theme, encouraging students to explore how connection underpins teamwork, leadership, empathy, and creativity.

Our students were truly incredible, MashaAllah, fully engaging in every opportunity with enthusiasm and openness.

They stepped out of their comfort zones, collaborated brilliantly with peers, and embraced new perspectives. It was inspiring to witness how they explored different ways of connecting and developed a deeper appreciation for the value of community and belonging. MashaAllah

A huge thank you to The Royal Navy, The Friendship Café, and The Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership for their collaboration and support. Your involvement helped make Enrichment Week not only inspiring but truly memorable.

The importance of connection is paramount in Islam, exemplified by our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW and is all around us and this week served as a powerful reminder of its lasting impact. AlhumduLillah.

Celebrating Connections

AASSG Enrichment Week offers students a valuable opportunity to engage in enriching activities that go beyond the standard curriculum. Organised by the RSE/PSHE Department, this week has been thoughtfully designed to provide a meaningful, enjoyable, and impactful experience.

The theme for this year is "Connections", highlighting the importance of building and strengthening relationships—within ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. Each activity has been chosen to reflect this theme, encouraging students to explore how connections underpin teamwork, leadership, empathy, and creativity. Throughout the week, students will be challenged to step outside their comfort zones, collaborate with peers, and discover new perspectives. These experiences are not only intended to support personal growth but also to foster a stronger sense of community and belonging.

Attendance is mandatory on all days, as each session forms an integral part of the learning journey and contributes to the development of essential life skills. We look forward to a week of inspiration, exploration, and meaningful connections.
