Year 9 have been learning about how art in society has shifted from once being seen as crime.
Questioning how modern artists use this style of art to share messages that either express or protest their beliefs; looking at Banksy, Shepard Fairey and others for common themes.
They also interviewed Bristish Muslim artist Mohammed Ali; founder of SoulCityarts who has recieved an MBE for his work and influence in integrating society through art. This was a very special experience and we'd like express a huge thanks to brother Mohammed for kindly giving us his time and inspiration.
