Enrichment Week 2026

Pushing Boundaries

Our annual Enrichment Week was a fantastic success, providing students with the opportunity to challenge themselves, develop new skills and create lasting memories before the end of the academic year. AlhumduLillah.

Year 7 and Year 8 students enjoyed a day exploring Stroud Arboretum, taking part in a range of team activities and travelling by train. For some students, this was their very first rail journey, making the experience even more memorable. A huge thank you to GCRP for organising and funding this fantastic trip.

Year 9 embraced their entrepreneurial side by planning, designing and creating their own waffles while considering key business strategies. By the end of the session, they had certainly earned the title of master waffle makers!

Sports Day once again brought out the competitive spirit across the school. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, celebrating successes and demonstrating excellent teamwork throughout the day. Congratulations to Bayt Fatima, who successfully defended their title to retain the House Sports Cup. Thank you to Yr9 & the PE dept. for making it such a success. Jzk.

Creativity flourished during our art workshops, where students explored a variety of different mediums to produce some truly impressive pieces of work. Students loved working with the guest artists who helped bring their creations to life.

The week concluded with an exciting trip to Drayton Manor, where students enjoyed the thrill and water rides while supporting one another to step outside their comfort zones. It was inspiring to see so many students show courage, face their fears and encourage their peers to do the same.

Enrichment Week was a fitting way to round off another successful academic year, and we are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, resilience and positivity shown by all of our students, MashaAllah.

We wish everyone a safe, happy and well-deserved summer break, iA.

Enrichment Week 2026

AASSG Enrichment Week offers students a valuable opportunity to engage in enriching activities that go beyond the standard curriculum. Organised by the RSE/PSHE Department, this week has been thoughtfully designed to provide a meaningful, enjoyable, and impactful experience.

The theme for this year is ‘Pushing Boundaries’, encouraging students to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences, and discover what they are capable of achieving by testing their limits. Through four exciting activities, students will be invited to step outside their comfort zones, take positive risks, and develop confidence in unfamiliar situations. The overall goal is to build resilience when life throws challenges your way.

Each activity has been carefully selected to promote resilience, teamwork, problem-solving, and personal growth. Throughout the week, students will have opportunities to support one another, overcome challenges, and reflect on their achievements. By pushing beyond their usual boundaries, they will gain new skills, build self-belief, and develop a greater understanding of their own strengths and potential.

Attendance is mandatory on all days, as each session forms an integral part of the learning journey and contributes to the development of essential life skills. We look forward to a week of inspiration, exploration, and meaningful connections.
