The trip consolidates work studied under the Crime and Punishment unit in History GCSE.
As part of curriculum enrichment for Computer Science lessons, we are pleased to offer a school trip to Bletchley Park for Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils on Monday 5th December 2022 - IA.
Bletchley Park is the home of the top-secret World War II codebreakers and the birthplace of modern computing. This provides a unique opportunity to enrich pupils' learning of Computing, History and Maths.
We have arranged a full day of interactive activities with a focus on mathematical coding, ciphers, encryption, and the history of World War II. Pupils will learn encoding techniques in the interactive workshop that forms part of this learning visit.
