Year 10s were challenged to create a cereal brand that could break into the cereal industry. Pupils were tasked with conducting market research before creating their packaging.
The cereal industry has a serious appetite for money, starting in America as a digestive aid, it’s now classed as the most important meal of the day for many people across the world including the UK. Revenue in the Breakfast Cereals market amounts to $2.99bn in 2023. The market is expected to grow annually by 4.18% and the average volume per person in the Breakfast Cereals market is expected to amount to 6.97kg in 2023. (Statista.com, 2023).
