Year 7 have enjoyed learning about Gravity being a non-contact force. Discussions about the gravitational field strengths on different planets was lively and the gravity cans helped demonstrate the comparative gravitational pull on Earth, the Moon, Neptune and Pluto.
Students were helped to understand the difference between Mass & Weight by resident scientist Elli the Elephant, who was having adventures flying from Earth to the Moon to demonstrate how her Mass remained the same but her weight changed!
