Year 7s have been understanding the UK parliamentary system and the role of the government. The four parties decided what issues were important to them, prepared party manifestos and debated their ideas with confidence and passion before going to vote at the poll station voting booth.
The votes were in and the Red Roses party won with a landslide victory for their excellent pledges which included supporting vulnerable children in school, offering indoor sports lessons when the weather was cold and wet outside and finishing school at lunchtime on Fridays!!
